Sat. Aug. 12, 9 pm:  David Usher - A Montreal artist and 4-time Juno Award recipient.

Sun. Aug. 13, 3 pm: Throw2catch - Circus show featuring a skilful blend of circus arts, and dance.

July-August 2017

Thur. Jul. 20, 7:30 pm: Un amour d’opéra at the Mont Tremblant Village Church. You will hear Love at the opera from centuries from Pergolesi, Verdi, and Puccini, to Gershwin.  There will be a talk with the artists at 7 pm. 

 

 

 

 

 

Fri. Jul. 21, 8 pm: The popular Canadian Tenor singer Marc Hervieux, accompanied by his pianist, at the St. Jovite Church, 940, rue de Saint-Jovite, Mont Tremblant.  At 7:30 there will be a talk.  

 

 

 

 

 

Sat. Jul. 22, 7:30: a free concert under the stars, with Alexandre Da Costa, violin soloist, of the “Orchestre de la Francophonie” at the Domain Saint-Bernard of Mont Tremblant.    The program includes a variety of popular pieces such as the Czardas by Monti and the famous music from ‘Schindler’s List.” In case of bad weather the concert will be given at the Saint-Jovite Church, 940 rue de Saint-Jovite, Mont Tremblant.

 24th Tremblant Bluesfest July 7 – 16

July 7 to 16: Tremblant Resort, 1000 chemin des Voyageurs.   There are four outdoor stages where top international bluesmen along with acclaimed Quebec Blues artists will amaze the audience.  There is Street blues, surprise shows; blues dance parties, music workshops, blues cafés; and jam sessions in restaurants and bars.

A few highlights of performances on the 4 outdoor stages:  The Ghost town Blues Band from Memphis, Sweet Dixie with clarinettist  and sax player Pierre Perron, Sugaray Rayford (Soul, Blues and R&B); The Commonheart (Soul, Blues, & Rock), Guy Belanger with his harmonicas; C.J. May 17 to June 4: Artist Marie Lyne Bourassa exhibits her painting collection entitled “Canada Merci!”  

June 14 to July 2:  Artist Fabienne Nozerand presents her collection entitled “Les Madones”.            

Inspired by the Devil’s River   To mark the 20th anniversary of the Coalition Eau-Secours!  A celebration will take place on June 21 at the Carpe Diem Bookstore in Mont Tremblant.  Artists to whom nature is sacred are invited to submit artwork: be it a poem, a text, a story, a letter, a song, music, a drawing or a photo.  This is our way of opposing oil pipelines and pollution.  Send material or communication with Annaloouisefontaine@yahoo.ca, 819-326-0340 - Due date is May 22nd.
