Jul. 28, 8:30 pm: Ladies Night - This show is popular around the world, it is back on tour.  Over 750 sold out shows in Quebec.  The play was written by Anthony McCarten and Stephen Sinclair.  In a little town a group of unemployed friends, take the challenge and launch a “Striptease” show with the help of an ex dancer, Glenda.  They have to learn to sing and dance….funny!  Casti: Guillaume Lemay–Thivierge, Marcel Leboeuf, Frédéric Pierre, François Chenier, Luc Senay, and Sylvie Boucher.

Sat. June 17, 8 pm: An evening with Gilles Vigneault!  Fifty years ago, on June 17, 1967, a young singer song-writer called Gilles Vigneault inaugurated the new theatre hall in Sainte Agathe.  The audience will hear Gilles Vigneault in conversation and in song, accompanied by Françoise Guénette, and his pianist Jean-François Groulx.  $50

May 19, 8 pm:  “Des mots sur mesure” five artists from different musical cultures Canadian indigenous, Brazil, Gypsy, American, and Mozambique, they sing in French for the first time, to text written by Robert Charlebois, Serge Fiori, Felix Leclerc, Michel Rivard, Georges Langford, Claude Dubois, Philippe B, Martin Leon, Fred Pellerin and others.  Yves Bernard of “Le Devoir” said in 2013 that it is “The planet earth revealed by five artists with a dozen Quebecois texts.”  $35

May 20, 8 pm: A theatre play “Tribus” (Tribes) Billy is deaf since birth, and never learnt the sign language.  His parents did not want him to be ostracized and raised him as they did his brother and sister…They live in denial.  The play was written (in English) by Nina Raine and won accolade in Britain and the U.S.  It will be played by actors: Jacques L’Heureux, Danielle Proulx, Catherine Chabot, Benoît Drouin-Germain, David Laurin, and Klervi Thienpont.  $38

 

Sat. May 27, 8 pm: Les Sœurs Boulay - “4488, de l’Amour” the two singers share their space at 4488 de L’Amour with the public. Opening act:  Elliot Maginot. $35

May 28, 10:30 am: Le Petit Monstre Chocolaté – Puppet show for children aged 3 to 7.  In the Chocolate factory of Papi-Choco, everyone has fun!  Except, be careful not eat too much chocolate because you do not wish to wake up the little Chocolate monster.  Free for Ste. June 3, 8 pm: “La liste de mes envies” (My Wish List), a theatre play adapted from Grégoire Delacourt book.  The life of Jocelyne, a 47-year-old woman her husband oddly named Jocelyn.  She wins an enormous amount of money in a Lottery.  She keeps it secret, not wishing to change her life but it is found out! The Cast:  Avec Marie-Chantal Perron, Steve Laplante, Marc Legault, Anick Lemay and Tammy Verge.  $55

June 4, 10:30 am:  Gargouille la Grenouille, for 2 to 7 years old children.  Gargrouille, the frog is sad.  Her father wants her to eat her friends, the insects.  In addition, humans are going to build a parking lot!  No place for the frogs and the insects anymore.  Ste. June 11, 4 pm: “La Tournée des idoles 2” - An evening of music from the 60s and 70s with returning artists of the first edition, including Jenny Rock, Patrick Zabé, Bruce Huard (of the Sultans), the Miladys trio, Serge Laparde, Michele Richard…and a surprise appearance! They will be accompanied by six musicians.  $63

 

Sat. June 17, 8 pm: For the 50th anniversary of the theatre - An evening with Gilles Vigneault, an icon of Quebec song.  Fifty years ago, on June 17, 1967, a young singer song-writer called Gilles Vigneault inaugurated the new theatre hall in Sainte Agathe, since then the theatre became a mythical place of the Quebec cultural scene.   In this show the audience will hear Gilles Vigneault in conversation and in song.  He will be accompanied by Françoise Guénette, (known for her work in radio and television), and his pianist Jean-François Groulx.  $50

Thur. June 8, 8 pm: Following his monologue "Isabelle", Fabien Dupuis brings his second part of a trilogy to the patriot.  Camil is the second part of a trilogy performed by Fabien Dupuis at the Patriote.  $30

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fri. June 9, 8 pm: Pierre Flynn - Singer-song-writer known as a singer, keyboardist, and composer of the group “Octobre”.  He already recorded four albums and received several prizes at the ADISQ, one of them a Felix for the best rock album of the year in 1987, and another Felix for the best song writer in 2001.  In 2015 his album “Sur la terre” was nominated for ADISQ as the album of the year, as well as writer-composer of the year.  He will be accompanied by his musicians, Mario Légaré (bass), José Major (drums) André Papanicolaou (guitar).  $35

Hofmannsthal’s libretto combines comedy, fantasy, human drama, and touches of philosophy and social commentary. $28
