Thérèse, owner of the salon and a fine psychologist, listens to their adventures and dramas. They are funny, touching, sometimes cynical. "Fleur d'Acier" is an ode to feminine solidarity performed by six talented actresses: With Marie-Ève Trudel, Pascale Véziau, Marie-Claude Giroux, Stéphanie Loiseau, Élisabeth Lauzon and Roxanne Soucy. The text is by Robert Harling, and is staged by Carle Guité.  $25

May 26, 8 pm:  Britishow – Le Roadtrip Musical – since the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan show, many other British icons followed, the Rolling Stones, the Who, the Zombies, Dave Clark Five, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Genesis….and then followed by Cat Stevens to James Blunt, from Petula Clark to Adele and more.  British artists became international icons by their audacity.   Mike Gauthier, director, and Philippe Turcotte, musical director, have chosen four stage stars: Yvan Pedneault, Renée Wilkin, Pascal Dufour and Philippe Berghella,   $52

June 16, 8 pm: Christian Marc Gendron – Piano Man Experience – from the 40s to the present, legendary pianist held a place at the top with their songs, from the piano bars of New York to the hotels of Las Vegas, names such as Ray Charles, Billy Joel, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elton John and many others have brought their songs to life.  Christian Marc Gendron has invited Manon Séguin, to join him in the “Piano Man Experience.”  $45

The Ô Chœur du Nord choir, directed by the composer Louis Babin, presents three concerts with the theme “Traces” – the program includes a variety of well known pieces: Pavane by Gabriel Fauré, and Ave Maria by Rossini.  There is also Lacrimosa from the Requiem of Mozart.  A piece called “Stairs” composed by Louis Babin, the Choir director.  An Ave Maria (Caccini) by Vladimir Vavilov; and also Music by Gershwin, Vigneault, Scarlatti, Barbara, Jenkins, Rachmaninov, Lauridsen, Elgar, and Tomkins, each piece demarks the seasons in a different way, but each has left its traces.  The fifty choir members will be accompanied by the pianist Céline Laverdure, and a string quintet.   Tickets are $25, students $15 (cash only)  at the general store of Val David, 2475, rue de l’Église, Val-David, and the Dépanneur Robert Gauthier, 1750 chemin du Village, St. Adolphe d’Howard.   On line:  Info: Marlène Gosselin, 819-321-7121,

Sat. May 19, 8 pm: the Dear Criminals are Frannie Holder, Vincent Legault and Charles Lavoie their music combines electro, fantasy with beautiful unique voices, music that creates melancholic songs.  $25


Sat. May 26, 8 pm:  Alan Berger is a multi-instrumental Blues musician who sings at the piano.  He is originally from Chicago, but now a Quebecois.  Alan Gerber already accompanied Dylan, Joplin, and BB King.   A "Crazy" blues magician combines great technique with an amazing stage presence.  $30


Fri. June 1, 8 pm: two artists share the stage – Lisa-Marie Jolin and Monsieur Raph.  Lisa Marie Jolin sings folk and country music; Monsieur Raph is a one-man orchestra, multi-instrument musician, who sings, plays guitars, didgeridoo, and tapping his feet for the rythmes.  $25

Thur. June 14, 8 pm: Singer, song writer Arthur H, was born in Paris in 1966.  He began singing with a deep warm voice in the 90s influenced by Rock and Jazz music in particular Thelonious Monk, and Tom Waits.  He will perform material from his tenth album, “Amour chien fou.” $53
