Fri. May 4, 8 pm:  Isabelle BoulayEn Vérité is the title of her recent album - a collection of original songs written by the most popular song writers.  For her 25th career anniversary, she has chosen well known musicians to accompany her. $48

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sat. May 12, 8 pm: For the first time at Le Patriote! Daniel Lavoie is a singer, song-writer, and actor, who walked on stage for the past forty years. This is his first time at the Patriote!  He sings in a warm voice at time raspy, with a perfect articulation.  One can understand each word in bothe French and English.  In this concert he presents songs from his new album “Mes longs voyages” accompanied by six musicians and a brass section.  $45

May 23, 7:30, doors open 7 pm: Doma is an artist, a photographer, a writer, and a world citizen who travelled from the north to the south poles with a group of French scientists.  She shares with the public (in French) the fascinating anecdotes, photos and videos she has taken while visiting Greenland.  Ste. May 26, 8 pm:  Britishow – Le Roadtrip Musical – since the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan show, many other British icons followed, the Rolling Stones, the Who, the Zombies, Dave Clark Five, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Genesis….and then followed by Cat Stevens to James Blunt, from Petula Clark to Adele and more.  British artists became international icons by their audacity.   Mike Gauthier, director, and Philippe Turcotte, musical director, have chosen four stage stars: Yvan Pedneault, Renée Wilkin, Pascal Dufour and Philippe Berghella,   $52

June 16, 8 pm: Christian Marc Gendron – Piano Man Experience – from the 40s to the present, legendary pianist held a place at the top with their songs, from the piano bars of New York to the hotels of Las Vegas, names such as Ray Charles, Billy Joel, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elton John and many others have brought their songs to life.  Christian Marc Gendron has invited Manon Séguin, to join him in the “Piano Man Experience.”  $45

Fri. Apr. 6, 8 pm: The Creole Company – celebration of thirty years of performing in Quebec.  It is a festivity, over ninety minutes of lively music and dance.   $49 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sat. Apr. 7, 8 pm: Claude Dubois is a regular at the Patriote. He was discovered at the Patriote auditions in Montreal, since then this song-writer-singer comes back to meet his Sainte Agathe audience.  There will be new songs as well as some of the most popular ones.  $50

Sat, Apr. 14, 8 pm: Vincent Vallières – Le Temps des Vivants – this singer song-writer will perform songs from his 7th album.  $38

 

 

Thur. Apr. 19, 8 pm:  Edgar Bori – Garneau/Bori – This is a unique evening.  Audience sits on stage partaking in a review of poems.  Edgar Bori is accompanied by the multi-instrumentalist Jean-François Groulx.   Bori delves into text by the poet Michel Garneau.  This piece was created in France at the Theatre de la Passerelle in May 2017 directed by Michel Bruszat who conceived this project.  $33

 

Sat. Apr. 21, 8 pm: La Chicane - an award winning group of musicians who came from Abitibi: Boom Desjardins, Martin Bédar, Christian Legault, Alain Villeneuve, and Dany Bédar, recorded their first album En Catimini  which received a few nominations at the ADISQ they produced four more albums.  The group broke up.  And in 2017, twenty years since they separated, they are back.

May 11, 8 pm:  Pygmalion – adapted from the original of My Fair Lady.  Bernard Shaw’s story of Professor Higgins and Elisa:  This production adapted, and directed by Martin Lavigne, is placed in Montreal in 1938.  A street flower girl, wishes to become a saleslady in a store, takes her destiny in hand and subjects to the cold, Professor Higgins, who turns her into a princess.  Cast: Jean-François Beaupré, Élizabeth Dupperé, Pierre Chagnon, Christine Lamer, Carmen Sylvestre, Mary-Ève Alary, Marc-André Coallier, Élisabeth Chouvalidzé.  $ 44
