trip to the Casino at the Versant Soleil resort in Mont Tremblant turned
out to be a pleasant surprise. The way we were welcomed at the entrance to
the Casino, made me feel as a “Queen for a Day”. Upon arrival, we were
greeted at the door by Alex who offered to park the car. We made our way
up to “Altitude Seafood and Grill – Lounge Restaurant”, a contemporary
dining room with a chandelier created by local artists Susan Edgerley &
Donald Robertson, which enhances the décor in addition to the breathtaking
panoramic view of the mountains.
menu comes in an “iPad” or if you wish, a regular printed one. We were
offered membership in the “Casino Privilege club” and received a card
entitling us to discount prices (daily Table d’hôte $17.50 reduced to
$14.90). We had the daily special of a delectable tomato soup with
fine-herbs, followed by fish with vegetables and rice, then deserts, and
fruit from the nicely laid out sweet table. The impeccable service offered
by efficient and courteous staff completed the experience. Open daily for
lunch and dinner; Sunday brunch is also served. Altitude is also
accessible to customers who are mobility-impaired. On weekends, live
musical entertainment is featured in the lounge. Casino Mont-Tremblant,
